7-Day Western Desert Expedition: Fayoum to El Kharga

Day 1: Cairo – Fayoum Desert Wonders - At 07:00 AM, your private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and begin your journey to El Fayoum, one of Egypt's hidden natural gems.
Your day will include: Fayoum Waterfalls a rare desert sight; Salt Lake a scenic, otherworldly spot; Al-Qasr Village & El Sagha ancient and historic local villages; Mudawara Mountain famous for its unique circular hills and desert vistas.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner and relax under the stars.

Day 2: Wadi Al-Hitan – Bahariya Oasis - After breakfast, drive to Wadi Al-Hitan (Valley of the Whales), a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring fossil remains of the earliest forms of whales—remarkable evidence of evolution from land to sea mammals.
In the afternoon, continue to Bahariya Oasis, where you'll enjoy lunch followed by a short local tour to discover this peaceful green haven surrounded by desert.

Day 3: Black Desert – Crystal Mountain – Agabat - After breakfast, venture deep into the desert to explore: The Black Desert volcanic hills over golden sand; Bedouin Village enjoy lunch and learn about local desert life; Crystal Mountain a glittering quartz ridge; Agabat and Flower Stone surreal rock formations shaped by wind and time.
Optional: Sandboarding on the dunes (free of charge).

Day 4: Agabat Valley – Magic Spring – New White Desert - Enjoy breakfast surrounded by silence and rock formations.
Then explore: Agabat Valley one of the most photogenic spots in the Western Desert; Magic Spring a hidden green oasis perfect for a relaxing lunch; New White Desert famous for chalk formations resembling animals and mushrooms.
Dinner and stargazing to end a magical day.

Day 5: Old White Desert – Tent Valley – Farafra – Dakhla - After breakfast, visit: Old White Desert & Tent Valley naturally sculpted rock wonders; Farafra Oasis – explore the local art museum showcasing desert inspired works; Continue to El Dakhla Oasis to visit the Roman Temple of Deir El Hagar, framed by dunes and palm groves.

Day 6: Dakhla – Kharga Oasis Expedition - After breakfast, explore: Mout Village, Bashandi & Balat ancient Nubian-style villages with mudbrick architecture; Continue via El Kharga Road to visit: El Ghoroud El Helaliya surreal desert dunes; El Bagawat Cemetery one of the world's oldest Christian cemeteries; Hibis Temple a well-preserved temple from the 6th century BC.

Day 7: Return to Cairo - After breakfast, sit back and relax as we drive you back to Cairo, bringing this unforgettable journey across Egypt's desert treasures to a close.
